CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD INFORMATION TRAINING
MAY 19, 2021
The National Tribal Gaming Commissioners & Regulators (NTGCR) began a webinar training series in January 2021 aimed at providing in-depth information for Tribal Gaming Regulatory Agencies (TGRA) to use in preparing for the many changes surrounding the fingerprint submission and Criminal History Record Information requirements of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). After conducting two (2) successful CHRI Roundtables and six (6) webinars, the NTGCR is proud to present a roundtable featuring tribal gaming regulators and representatives from the National Indian Gaming Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The panel will provide an understanding and overview of the Security & Management Control Outsourcing Standard for Non-Channelers, provide a basic understanding of who would be considered a Non-Channeler, and what the shared responsibility is for both the TGRA and the Non-Channeler. TGRAs, as well as tribal leadership, are encouraged to join the roundtable to gain information useful in understanding the proposed changes to the NIGC MOU and which may aide in drafting comments on those proposed changes. The roundtable will be provided free of charge.
