We hope you will join us for the 5th webinar in our CHRI webinar series being sponsored by NTGCR. This webinar will be a two part webinar, Policy and Procedure Development being presented by Celeste Hughes, San Pasqual Gaming Commission and Traci Asher, Certified Internal Auditor. The second part of the webinar will be Personal Identifiable Information, being presented by Debra Chase Mosely, Partner & Chief Operating Officer, Merydyan Technologies and Brian Dixon, Cyber Security & Network Engineer, Merydyan Technologies.

The webinar series began with a Round table discussion with Chairman Jamie Hummingbird, Panelist, Jered Burright, Muscogee Creek Nation Office of Public Gaming; Meredith Hanley, Pokagon Band Gaming Commission; Thorsten Toms, Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission; David Vialpando, Pokagon Band Gaming Commission. Each webinar we dive deeper into a new topic relating to CHRI.

The goal of this roundtable and webinar series is to provide an assessment of the FBI/NIGC statutory requirements and recommendations to tribal gaming regulators on the collection, submission, and handling of gaming license application fingerprints and resulting Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), provide checklist(s), and other document templates. Our first topic was LASO 101 by Meredith Hanley, Director of Licensing and Investigations, Pokagon Band Gaming Commission. Our second topic was “Reduce the CHRI Footprint” by Thorsten Toms, Director of Gaming Administration of the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission. The third topic was “Clear Path to Compliance” by Dave Vialpando, Executive Director of Pokagon Band Gaming Commission and the last topic was “Network Topography for CJIS” by Jered Burright, IT Manager, and Gary Thompson, Network Administrator, Muscogee Creek Gaming Commission, JP Lambrechts, Enterprise Architect, Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians Information Technology Department.

When: Wednesday – May 5, 2021 (every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month thru end of June) Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (central time)

Cost: Webinars will be provided free of cost for Commission and Associate Members of NTGCR. If your Commission/Associate is not a member, the cost will be $100 per Commission/Associate for each session. There is no limit on number of participants from each Commission/Associate that registers. To verify you are a member or to receive a membership application, please email: dawnr@ntgcr.com.

Registration is required for each webinar. Any person wishing to join the webinar must register in advance, by Monday, May 3rd at 5:00 p.m. Once we receive the form, a separate zoom registration link will be forwarded to each individual. Each individual must complete the registration process via the provided link. Each individual will then receive a personalized link to join the webinar directly from zoom.
